"Gowan's is a must stop if you're driving scenic Highway 128. They have fresh fruits and vegetables in season, a wide selection of dried fruits and even frozen pies. Apples are their specialty. The restrooms are clean and a welcome relief for travellers. Gowan's is not far from the giant old growth redwoods in Hendy Woods State Park."
